Cory Goodwin writes blog posts, SEO content, short stories, flash fiction, and is currently working on his first novel. He expresses himself by writing his thoughts. Being a writer is his super power.

Stephen King said that writing is like telepathy. Authors write words and across time and space another person reads those thoughts. Cory agrees with King’s logic and finds it enthralling. Cory desires to share his mind with others. He hopes you enjoy your visit.

Cory Goodwin has many ideas floating around in his head. At any given time you can find him daydreaming. Don’t worry, he is hard at work formulating stories in his mind. Cory loves to tell stories. As an introvert, he gets self-conscious about sharing them in person. He would rather dream up his stories and write them for people’s enjoyment.

He is filled with curiosity. Books satisfy that curiosity. They provide him with knowledge he couldn’t gain anywhere else.

Cory Goodwin’s Faith

A proud Catholic, Cory Goodwin, believes that Jesus Christ founded a Church and didn’t write a Bible. In fact, the Catholic Church wrote the Bible and put it together. There was only meant to be one universal Church accepting of all nationalities. It is okay for people within the Church to discuss issues and disagree. However, when the Magisterium speaks, its decision should be considered final

One of Cory’s favorite things to do is pray the Rosary. Meditating on the mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary is a spiritual undertaking. It gets you into the life of Christ. You see His trials and victories through the eyes of the one closest to Him, His mother Mary. Cory tries to pray the Rosary daily and encourages all of the faithful to do the same. He also enjoys praying the Divine Office as time permits.

Cory Goodwin: Conservative

Cory Goodwin believes in personal responsibility. Along with religious and personal freedom. He naturally falls on the conservative end of the spectrum.

He believes men should be men and shouldn’t apologize for it. Toxic masculinity is a feminist term that means men should be more like women. We wouldn’t have the society and technology we have today if men acted like women. In order for a society to survive, we need both men and women. Both sexes are of equal importance.

To Cory, Trump represents a strong America. Trump is a no-nonsense type of guy. He tells it like it is and he does his best for America. Trump loves America the way it was and the way it is. He actively fights against the globalists and the socialists who seek to change and destroy America.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed in life. The best way for upward mobility is capitalism. Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other economic system. By providing lifelong social welfare and interfering with the free exercise of public transactions, socialists hinder the ability for this upward mobility. They will provide you the basics but if you want more you’re out of luck.

Cory Goodwin enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 19. He wanted to serve his country, protect his borders, and promote freedom. The US Navy was the best option to help secure the sea lanes, promote global commerce, and ensure the American way of life.

On September 11, 2001, Cory watched the Twin Towers fall from the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson. The entire crew, along with Cory, were shocked and saddened to see those towers fall. The crew was in a rage and ready to avenge the deaths of all those Americans. But they had to wait. They sat in the Indian Ocean and waited for the call.

President George Bush had a tough decision to make. He had to figure out who was to blame and plan a counter-attack. President Bush made the right call and ordered the crew of the USS Carl Vinson to initiate the first retaliatory strikes against Afghanistan on October 7, 2001. Cory Goodwin was proud to be apart of that mission. For his efforts, he was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. He proudly displays his First to Strike Certificate on his wall.
